Mrs. Lauren M. Brandt
Mrs. Lauren M. Brandt, a Project Leader at ALPS Solutions, has worked on various applied research and consulting projects since 2008, to include serving as the lead on needs assessment projects with Progressive Expert Consulting, Inc. (PEC) and the Department of Education (ED). She served as a co-project lead on several training needs assessments (including the Air Force Special Operations Command Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture [LREC] Needs Assessment; the United States Army Special Forces Command Language Needs Assessment; and the Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command LREC Needs Assessment). She has extensive experience designing focus group and interview protocols, moderating and scribing focus groups, designing and developing large web-surveys, quantitative analysis, and qualitative coding and analysis. She has additional experience working on projects related to training evaluation, database design, and product development.
Lauren has conducted research examining mission-related LREC capability requirements, work-place emotions and emotional appraisal patterns, survey participation rates, attitudes towards paper and web-based recruiting, and website diversity pictures in relation to employment. She has presented posters and presentations at several conferences including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the United States Special Operations Command Special Operations Forces Language and Culture Seminar. She received her M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2006 from the Florida Institute of Technology and her B.A. in 2004 from East Carolina University.
